Zinc Bromide, a solution for completion fluid in oil and gas operations, is a clear, colorless to pale amber aqueous product. It can be mixed with calcium bromide and calcium chloride to achieve a desired fluid density and corresponding crystallization temperature.
It is nondamaging to the formation, it is thermally and chemically stable and it can be blended with other solutions containing bromides and chlorides.
